La presente edición del Anuario CIDOB de la Inmigración analiza los efectos de la pandemia del COVID-19 en la inmigración, la movilidad humana y las políticas migratorias, ocupándose principalmente de España, pero también de Europa y, en menor medida, de América Latina y Estados Unidos. El análisis pone el foco en los efectos de la pandemia en la población extranjera residente en nuestro país, especialmente en el ámbito laboral y respecto a sus condiciones de vida, en el sector sanitario, en el trabajo del hogar y de los cuidados y sobre los temporeros agrícolas. Asimismo, más allá del contexto de pandemia, el Anuario profundiza en una serie de temas específicos, como la emigración de jóvenes universitarios españoles, las uniones mixtas y los refugiados LGTBI.  [descargar]

La trigésima edición del Anuario Internacional CIDOB se centra en el análisis de la crisis de la Covid-19 y sus efectos sobre los equilibrios de poder y la rivalidad entre potencias internacionales, la economía o el futuro de la democracia. ¿Qué actores internacionales saldrán reforzados y cuáles perjudicados con esta crisis? La lucha contra la Covid-19, ¿unirá o dividirá más a la comunidad internacional? ¿Se ensancharán las fracturas sociales y políticas? ¿Dónde quedará la ola de protestas globales que marcó el final del 2019? Con cerca de un centenar de artículos y opiniones breves, se abordan también cuestiones de la agenda internacional como la lucha por el liderazgo mundial entre EE.UU. y China -ante las elecciones a la Casa Blanca el próximo mes de noviembre-, el nuevo escenario europeo tras el Brexit, el impacto de la revolución digital sobre los derechos y las libertades individuales, así como el auge de los movimientos feministas contemporáneos en la agenda política global. Todo ello bajo la perspectiva de una publicación que conmemora sus 30 ediciones desde la primera publicación en 1990.  

Este año, el Anuario dedica su Perfil de País a Alemania, que celebra el 30 aniversario de su reunificación ante los retos de la desaceleración económica producida por la pandemia, el auge de la extrema derecha, el debate en torno a la inmigración y los refugiados, la persistencia de una fractura psicológica, política y económica entre el este y el oeste del país y el final de la era Merkel. Además, Alemania ostenta la presidencia rotatoria de la UE desde el 1 de julio hasta el final del año 2020. [+]

CoverEurostat regional yearbook 2017

The 2017 edition of the Eurostat regional yearbook provides a taste of the wide range of regional statistics available for the 276 NUTS level 2 regions (or even 1 342 NUTS level 3 regions for some indicators) of the 28 Member States of the EU as well as, when available, in EFTA and candidate countries. The publication also presents regional data for specific sectors and economic activities: 'Digital economy and society', 'Tourism', 'Transport' and 'Agriculture'. You can see that the capital city regions of Copenhagen in Denmark and Stockholm in Sweden record the largest proportion of individuals participating in social networks. These chapters also reveal that that the regions of Centre and Bretagne, both in France, are the top EU regions for the production of cereals and the production of cows' milk respectively, while Cataluña in Spain records the highest number of pigs. You will also get, amongst others, facts and figures about tourism in coastal and non-coastal areas as well as a map on nine planned transport corridors in the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). [+] 

CoverEurostat regional yearbook 2016

Statistical information is an important tool for understanding and quantifying the impact of political decisions in a specific territory or region. The Eurostat Regional yearbook 2016 gives a detailed picture relating to a broad range of statistical topics across the regions of the EU Member States, as well as the regions of the EFTA and candidate countries.

Each chapter presents statistical information in maps, figures and tables, accompanied by a description of the policy context, main findings and data sources. These regional indicators are presented for the following 12 subjects: regional policies and Europe 2020, population, health, education and training, the labour market, the economy, structural business statistics, research and innovation, the information society, tourism, transport, and agriculture. In addition, two special focus chapters are included in this edition: a focus on commuting patterns between regions and a focus on regional population projections. [+]
