The Group Is currently a Joint Research Unlt between the Universities Of Valencia and Jaume I of Castellón.

rafaelripollHe is currently a professor of European law and competition policy at the Catholic University of Valencia, where he heads the Institute of European Studies which has been selected and recognized by both the European institutions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Generalitat Valenciana.

He has worked in the universities of Valencia, Alcalá de Henares, Francisco de Vitoria, Miguel Hernández de Elche, Unite, Alicante and both in-person and on line (OBS group) and in the areas of European competition policy, EU externalaction, International development cooperation among other subjects.

For the last three years he has been a member of Andersen Tax and legal, international law firm where he develops his professional advice in European competition law. He has been recognized as Best lawyer in European law in the years 2017 and 2018.

He is currently the honorary consul of Sweden in Valencia and delegate of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce. He is part of the Group of Experts of the European Commission Team Europe, and is a member of the National Board of the Spanish European Movement, as well as vice president of the Circle Via Jeffersson. He was a professor at the Catholic University of Managua and an international observer in the presidential elections of the Republic of Nicaragua as well as a conference consultant in Central America with the help of the German foundation Frederich Nauman.

Alberto ArrufatucvLaw Degree (University of Valencia (UV), 2000), Master in International Business Administration (CEU, 2001), PhD in Law (Universitat Jaume I, 2008) and Official Master in Management (UCH-CEU, 2014). Since 2011, he is full Teacher of International Law & European Law at the Catholic University of Valencia. He teaches in undergraduate and postdegree studies, focused on the European Law, public and private international law and related subjects (EU Law, development cooperation, and European protection of human rights foreign policy of subnational entities, ius in bello, and more). From 2018, he is associate teacher in the Catholic University of Lille teaching during autumn semester.  

Two Awards and one Honour Mention received for his PhD thesis. His main research has been focused on the relationship between International trade and Human rights. His last work is “La Ciudadanía Europea como labor permanente, Tirant Lo Blanch, 2019” (“The European citizenship as a permanent duty”).  Director of two doctoral thesis defended. From 2018 he is member of the General Committee of the Global Governance Debate in Yale University. His experience managing European projects (from 2004) gives to him the adequate knowledge of financial and executive procedures of the EU.

monica martinezMs. Mónica Martínez López-Sáez is a Research Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science, University of Valencia. She is also Research collaborator and member of the interdisciplinary group I+D BIOLAW, University of Valencia School of Law (Spain).

She was  Research fellow at the European Institute (Centre for Contemporary Spanish Studies) at the London School of Economics, and Stagiaire at the European Commission (Directorate-General Migration and Home Affairs – Anti-Trafficking Unit –specialization: vulnerable groups). She is currently doing her LL.D. at the Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science, University of Valencia, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luis Jimena Quesada.

Tamar Shuali TrachtenbergProf. Dr. Tamar Shuali Trachtenberg, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training, Catholic University of Valencia UCV, she obtained her PhD in Pedagogy and an International Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. Her fields of interest are intercultural education, social justice and inclusion, civic education, and European values and citizenship.

She teaches Intercultural Education, International Comparative Education and Inclusive Education. She was a founding member of the International Network for Inclusion in School Systems and at present she is the coordinator of the Ibero-Mediterranean Research Network on Etno-cultural Identities, Education and Public Policy. She was a consultant expert to the Council of Europe and the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) on Holocaust and Intercultural Education, and to the Regional Government of Valencia (Generalitat) on youth participation. She is the leader of the research group on Citizenship, Cultural Diversity & Education. She is a member of the European Educational Research Association (EERA), of the Sociedad Española de Pedagogía (Spanish Society of Pedagogy), and of the Sociedad Española de Educación Comparada (Spanish Society of Comparative Education).

mariatorresPhD. Assistant Professor (credited to Associate Professor) on Public International Law and International Relations at the University of Valencia (Spain) since 2017.

Barrister (Valencia Barristers’ Association, Spain, from 2006 onwards). Associate Professor on Public International Law and International Relations at the Faculty of Law at the University of Valencia (Spain) from 2008-2017. Teaching experience in the field of Public International Law since 2004 and in the field of EU’s Law since 2013. Teaching experience in other optional subjects related to Public International Law (Teaching experience in the field of International Law of Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, International Environmental Law, International Criminal Law, etc).

valentinbouHolder of the Chair on Public International Law and International Relations at the University of Valencia (Spain). Holder of a Jean Monnet Chair. Former academic coordinator of a Jean Monnet Teaching Module. Former Director of the “Adolfo de la Miaja” International Law Institute at the University of Valencia. Organizer of several courses on EU’s Law and Human Rights delivered at the University of Valencia. Teaching and research experience in the fields of Public International Law and EU’s Law since the academic course 1985/1986.

Aquest seminari te com a finalitat conèixer en detall les estadístiques europees que ofereix Eurostat (Oficina d’estadística de la Unió Europea) i com fer ús d’elles mitjançant la localització i descarrega de dades. El curs està dirigit a totes aquelles persones interessades en conèixer i utilitzar les estadístiques de la Unió Europea o d’altres països europeus. Especialment dirigit a l’estudiantat universitari així com a professionals que necessiten utilitzar estadístiques europees (periodistes, gabinets d’anàlisi i estudi, etc) No es requereixen coneixements previs.
